What are you currently reading?

I am currently reading Belonging by Karen Ann Hopkins at the moment. This is the sequel to Temptation and I am eager to find out what happens in this one! It’s a different type of contemporary romance based on Amish culture!

What did you recently finish reading?

In the last week I have finished reading The Eternity Cure (Blood of Eden #2) by Julie Kagawa. Really enjoyed this sequel and after that major cliffhanger, I now await the third book!! Review was posted on Monday. :D

What do you think you’ll read next?

Probably The S-Word by Chelsea Pitcher as that’s coming out shortly also and I have a few other good titles to read this month also! I am hoping I can get around to them as I am still experiencing a terrible reading slump right now… doesn’t help with work and my course expectations, I am under a fair amount of stress. But I do start annual leave on Monday so the goal is to get through some books in this time!

In the last week I have finished reading Pivot Point by Cassie West. It was so original and clever in structure, it was a fantastic book! I posted the review of this book on Monday!

What do you think you’ll read next?

I have a few Advanced Readers Copies (ARCs) to read at the moment Belonging by Karen Ann Hopkins, The Boyfriend App by Katie Sise, The S-Word by Chelsea Pitcher to name a few!! So I will be busy getting through those.

I am currently reading Pivot Point by Cassie Westat the moment. I’ve just started it, but it looks like it’s going to be a really good read!

What did you recently finish reading?

In the last week I have finished reading Scarlet by Marissa Meyer as well as Sever (The Chemical Gardens #3) by Lauren DeStefano. Both were really great reads and books I was highly anticipating this year, so I was really pumped to have had the time to squeeze these ones in! The review of Scarlet was posted yesterday and the review of Sever will be up on Friday! 

What do you think you’ll read next?

I am happy that I’ve made a bit of a dent in my TBR pile and I hope to continue this in April with, Reached by Allie Condie and The Storyteller by Jodi Picoult. I am still up to date with my ARC’s right now – I am going to be reading The Eternity Cure by Julie Kagawa later in this month as an ARC, but aside from that April is every bit a catch up month for me, so I am going to try my hardest to get through as much as I can!

What are you currently reading?

I am currently reading Scarlet by Marissa Meyer. I absolutely loved Cinder and so far I am enjoying Scarlet, but it’s early on in the book (Chapter 5) at the moment.

What did you recently finish reading?

In the last week I have finished reading Paper Valentine by Brenna Yovanoff as well as Looking For Alaska by John Green. The review of Paper Valentine was posted yesterday if you want to check that out, and my review of Looking For Alaska will be posted on Friday – but in short, it was AMAZING. I really got wrapped up in the emotion of the book.

What do you think you’ll read next?

I’ve been reading some books that I’ve long had on my TBR list like Paper Valentine, Looking For Alaska and now Scarlet. There’s so many, that realistically I’ll never ‘catch up’, but there’s a lot of books I’d love to read when I’m not reading ARC’s. Depending on my mood at the time I’d love to get around to Sever by Lauren DeStefano, Reached by Allie Condie, The Storyteller by Jodi Picoult. I am still up to date with my ARC’s right now - I am going to be reading The Eternity Cure by Julie Kagawa later in this month as an ARC, but aside from that April is every bit a catch up month for me, so I am going to try my hardest to get through as much as I can!

I really want to catch up on some reads that have been on my TBR like Sever by Lauren DeStefano, Reached by Allie Condie, The Storyteller by Jodi Picoult. April is every bit a catch up month for me, so I am going to try my hardest to get through as much as I can!

I am currently reading In The Shadow of Blackbirds by Cat Winters – I adore how different it is! I am lapping up this book. 1920′s, seances, spiritual photography and old school creepy black and white pics scattered throughout. I am almost half way through!

I’ve also started reading The Eternity Cure by Julie Kagawa and 30 pages in, it’s frikken awesome. I do love Ms Kagawa’s work… she’s amazeballs. I am saving this book until I finish Shadow of Blackbirds, but I am pumped!

What did you recently finish reading?

I last finished reading Poison by Bridget Zinn. I reaaaaally enjoyed the fairytale aspects of this story, it appealed to my inner child whilst keeping the storyline fresh and exciting. I reviewed this yesterday so make sure you check it out if you’re interested!

What are you currently reading?

I am currently reading When We Wake by Karen Healey, and I am really into it so far. It’s set in Melbourne (like 45 minutes from where I live) and it’s set in the future. There are some really cool things about this book that I am liking so far, but I’m only halfway through it right now.

I am over halfway through right now to an audiobook also and this is Splintered by A.G. Howard. I am emjoying this, but unfortunately I took too long reading Ready Player One and so I have ARC’s that need to be read as a priority, so this is more when I get time to listen to it. It’s a retelling of Alice in Wonderland – one of my all time favourite classics.

What did you recently finish reading?

I last finished reading Ready Player One by Ernest Cline and the review was posted yesterday! Amazing, epic, fantastic… this book was all of the good words.

What do you think you’ll read next?

I next would like to read Legacy of the Clockwork Key by Kristen Bailey as well as Poison by Bridget Zinn.I want to continue with the Vampire Academy series by Richelle Mead also.

I am currently reading two books (yes juggling again!) – Ready Player One by Ernest Cline, which so far is incredible! It teams together all my nerdy loves into one. Video games, pop culture references and the 80′s! I am loving this! I am halfway through right now. I am listening to an audiobook also and this is Splintered by A.G. Howard and it’s so so good! I am currently reading Prodigy (Legend #2) by Marie Lu. I am only about 50 pages in so far, but so far, a promising start! Just reading the one book right now because I am also doing a lot of homework on the side at the moment for my Cert IV Training and Assessment course that I am doing, and textbooks ain’t fun. :(

What did you recently finish reading?

I last finished reading Vampire Academy by Richelle Mead, which I highly enjoyed, and the review of this was posted yesterday. Totally didn’t expect it to be as awesome as it was (I am guilty of putting it in the “just-another-vampire-book’ category)…. it had a solid story line and I am looking forward to continuing this series!

I next would like to read Level 2 by Lenore Appelhans, Asunder by Jodi Meadows and I want to continue with the Vampire Academy series by Richelle Mead also.

I am currently reading The Evolution of Mara Dyer by Michelle Hodkin. I’ve been wanting to read this one for a while and I am so happy I’ve now started it!!! :D I gave up on Enders Game (the audiobook) because it required more concentration than I could give it. I am going to try and actually get a copy of the book and read it. I think listening to this one is too much.

What did you recently finish reading?

I last finished reading Out of the Easy by Ruta Sepetys which I really liked, and the review of this was posted yesterday! Bit of a surprise package, I didn’t expect to get so much of a dramatic storyline, but I went with it and loved it!

What are you currently reading?

I am currently reading two books and listening to one audiobook! More than I would usually have on the go at once, but these are the situations we get in as book bloggers! haha The first book I am reading right now is Shades of Earth (Across The Universe #3) by Beth Revis. I am about 100 pages into it so far and am trying to have this completed by Thursday so I have a bit of reading to knuckle down on. I am enjoying this a lot so far – it’s looking like it’s focused more on the landing of the ship and what happens post landing.

The second book I am reading right now is Out of the Easy – Ruta Sepetys which I have just started but it’s instantly ‘grabbed’ me. This is an ARC and it’s being released on the 12th of Feb, so I am aiming to have this read and review posted by next Tuesday.

I am still currently listening to Ender’s Game by Orson Scott Card on audiobook. This is more for my enjoyment at this stage, so I am not rushing through it. I am listening to it in bits and pieces and it’s getting quite good. I am about 3 hours into it (it’s a 10/11 hour audiobook), so I’ve just made a dent in it.

What did you recently finish reading?

I last finished reading Unravel Me (Shatter Me #2) and Destroy Me (Shatter Me #1.5) both by Tahereh Mafi and I looooooved them both. The review of Destroy Me was posted on Monday and Unravel Me was posted yesterday, so you can see my thoughts of both in more detail there.

What do you think you’ll read next?

I next would like to read The Evolution of Mara Dyer by Michelle Hodkin, as well as Level 2 by Lenore Appelhans. Also on my list to read this month is Asunder by Jodi Meadows.

What are you currently reading?

I am currently reading Hooked by Liz Fichera. I am almost half way through and it’s surprisingly a bit of a deep read, which I didn’t expect. And there’s a lot of golf. I am not into golf, but even so I am enjoying this! I am listening to Ender’s Game by Orson Scott Card on audiobook. I am only the first hour into it so far, so I am just trying to figure out what everything means and understand the world building that’s going on, but it shows promise.

What did you recently finish reading?

I last finished readingThe Madman’s Daughter by Megan Shepherd which I really enjoyed. It was a refreshingly different book to others I’ve read recently, and the twist ending was amazing and heart wrenching.

I also finished listening to Eve & Adam by Michael Grant, and the review is coming tomorrow. Pretty enjoyable!

What are you currently reading?

I am currently reading The Madman’s Daughter by Megan Shepherd. . I am 13 chapters into it (30% roughly) and so far I am absolutely sucked in. Such an original plot! I’ve only pulled myself away from it in order to do my day job, and then I am back reading, I can’t wait to find out what happens next.

What did you recently finish reading?

I last finished reading Through The Ever Night (Under The Never Sky #2) by Veronica Rossi, and I found this to be much more entertaining than the first book in this series! I feel like the first book was focused on world building, and setting the scene in order for the second book to just get to the point and kick ass. I feel really excited about this series – a feeling I (openly) didn’t feel for this series when I first finished the first book!

What do you think you’ll read next?

Next on my list to read is Hooked by Liz Fichera, Unravel Me by Tahereh Mafi and Pantomime by Laura Lam. Those reviews however will be posted closer to the release dates!
